George & Kathy are fantastic hosts! Great communication, everything we needed was easily found or stocked. They were in touch with us as needed and everything went exceptionally smooth. We've never used a service like VRBO before and we didn't know what to expect in general. The whole experience was truly great! For once in our life the pictures didn't do the cottage justice! Once you arrive here you'll be more than impressed, as the cottage is far better than the pictures represent! We anticipated a lovely place based on the photos, but we were MORE than surprised!

Beyond our expectations- Fantastic experience

The Nature's cottage was a fantastic experience from the moment we checked-in till the day we left. George & Kathy were remarkable super-hosts. Everything was provided for us and made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We were welcomed with a gift basket as soon as we arrived - we thought that was an amazing touch to start our week. We enjoyed an entire week's stay with 8 people sleeping extremely comfortably. The cottage is uniquely designed where you have many common areas but privacy at the same time. The river is very calming - we were able to canoe & kayak each day. We spent most of our time on the deck & utilizing the large fire pit. Such a beautiful place - I highly recommend this was our family's first cottage all together. We enjoyed it so much we are going to book it again for next year. It was beyond our expectations. :) 6+ stars.

We really enjoyed our stay at George’s cottage. The location to the beach is perfect. It was nice having the choice to use the public or private beach. Everyday we went to the private beach we were the only ones there, this made us feel like it was our own little beach which was a nice little touch. George was great with communication throughout the stay and answered any questions quickly.

What you see is what you get and, what you get is fantastic. George is great, literally anything you need he is a phone call away. He got in touch at the half way point to make sure everything was going well which it was. The property. The property is exactly like the pictures, actually the back yard and deck are Bigger! We had 5 adults and two dogs stay, there was definitely enough room for us (Dogs were in heaven). The house was spotless! Like the description the beaches are only a couple of minutes away. The one beach that has the stairs leading down to it we loved for watching the sunsets, I highly recommend. The other beach which george describes is definitely better for day time lounging. The town of Bayfield is absolutely beautiful and only 7ish minute drive away. Well worth going to for a meal or two. Overall the trip was what we imagined and couldn't of been happier. George was an absolutely amazing host! His place was even more beautiful than the pictures. The beds were so comfortable and the place was so clean. Check in/out was straight forward and George was fast at responding if we had any questions. Best host by far!!

Natures cottage was everything we were looking for and more! Large open kitchen. We had multiple people in at the same time! The place was spotless! The welcome basket was a great touch and we loved Rosies ice-cream. George & Kathy are great hosts, very responsive and made sure that we didn’t need anything during our stay. The full enclosed backyard was great for our dog. The large deck and multiple seating arrangements gave us multiple choices to hang and eat our meals. Also if going with a larger group or teenage boys who eat lots the extra fridge in the basement was a wonderful surprise!! The beach is more rocky than sandy just make sure of have water shoes and you will be fine. We used both access points to the beach.  Walked the trail which was beautiful as well as used the stairs. Can’t beat a Lake Huron sunset!

Lovely place and a wonderful stay. Very clean, stylish interior with beautiful trees, peaceful deck, great BBQ and fire pit. Great location minutes away from Sandy beach and playground. George is very responsive and a pleasure to interact with. He left a basket of essentials and thoughtful touches like dog treats. A must stay!

George is an amazing host. He provided us everything we asked. His cottage was very peaceful and
cozy. Me and my family had the opportunity to spend a weekend at this beautifully decorated
cottage in Washago. The cottage is very spacious ,neat and beautiful. Open concept kitchen and a
nice living room and a separate dining room That has a beautiful view of the river and
nature.spacious rooms with comfortable beds and huge bathrooms and walk-in closets. Master
bedroom with a separate balcony facing the river and also a very cozy patio with lots of furniture for
larger groups. Huge backyard and lots to do.... all of these amenities plus our awesome host(
George) contributed to a wonderful weekend. We hope to revisit this place in the future .

This cottage is a real gem, the location is quiet yet accessible. The cottage is truly beautiful, and the
whole process with George was easy. Quick responses when we had questions, he was very helpful
and pleasant. There were more amenities than we were expecting, which made our stay easier.
There was plenty of room for 10 adults, and I will 100% keep this place in mind when I return to the
area! You won't regret picking this cottage!

Natures Cottage was beautiful! The large property was fully stocked with everything you could possibly
need to enjoy a comfortable stay. The hot water on demand was perfect for a hot bath. The cozy loft
was absolutely breathtaking and wonderful to wake up in every morning with natural light. Walking
down the path in the evening and watching the lake was a gift. we can’t wait to return in the summer!

George was an incredible host! My wife and I spent a week up there. The house was exactly as
described and even better in real life... it was beautiful, open and large. We had awesome views of
Lake Huron from the master bedroom and also from the main living room as well. The backyard was
awesome with a large wrap around deck. Our dog really enjoyed the fenced in yard. The
neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We really enjoyed going into the town of Bayfield as well. I
would highly recommend George's place and his other cottage as well (as he is an excellent host).

This place was absolutely beautiful, I have come here twice with my family and both times were
amazing. It is the perfect distance from Toronto and there is so much to do. George is responsive and

helps immediately. I would highly recommend this place for families or friends. The place was also very
clean and I had no issues. Hope to be back soon !

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at both Nature cottage locations. Both Bayfield and Washago properties were very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Between free wifi, tobogganing in the winter, fishing in the summer and enjoying beautiful nature walks and bonfires all year around there was always something to do keeping the whole family entertained. The owners were very responsive, professional and friendly. My family and I highly recommend Natures cottage for your next getaway- it was truly a great experience. We’re looking forward to returning again soon.

George’s place was absolutely amazing! exceeded my expectations by far! The house was very spacious,
we had a group of 8 and we had more than enough room. The house was clean and decorated very
nicely, it made you feel like you were at home! The open concept and huge windows looking out to the
water we’re just breathtaking. The wrap around porch was such a nice surprise as well. I don’t feel like I
can say enough about the property, it was worth every penny! George was also very easy to deal with,
from start to finish! I would definitely recommend this place and my friends and I are going to be
returning :)! Thank you George !

My family and I were so pleased with our stay at George’s cottage! The space is big, bright, with cozy
cottage charm. More than enough space for our family of 10! The location, just a few minutes from
downtown Bayfield and facing the beautiful lake sunsets, just perfect for our family getaway. George
is very responsive and a thoughtful host. Quick to reply and generous when accommodating some
specific asks we had along the way. We truly felt at home at George’s cottage - what more can you
ask for!

Our stay was seamless from beginning to end. Our host George was very
accommodating and easy to get ahold of. He provided all the extras you would need for
a home away from home. The cottage was so clean and well kept. Our fave place to
spend time was the deck in the backyard overlooking the water. Can't wait to come

The location is amazing! Cottage is nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. I have stayed at both cottages and highly recommend both. I can’t wait to stay at both once the weather is warmer, though both cottages were perfect for the winter as well! Free wifi, fully equipped kitchen and incredible owners.

A group of close friends and family got together two months ago and decided to take a
trip out of town. Reservations as well as communication with the host was easy and
professional. George was more than happy to help in any way so our time at this
beautiful cottage ends up being as comfortable and as memorable as possible. Walk to
the beach was very enjoyable since it takes only couple of minutes to get to it. Beach
itself is isolated and beautiful so we spent couple of hours just enjoying the view and
calm and quiet environment. Property itself is huge. The deck that's wrapped all around
the cottage gives a feeling of luxury and pure enjoyment. BBQ is well maintained with
two additional propane tanks on the side. Very spacious backyard with plenty of sitting
arrangements around fire pit. All rooms are very clean and comfortable. Large kitchen is
equipped with everything and more that you need to make any kind of meal. Overall an
amazing Property on amazing location. We are already taking a look at next available
dates so we can book another trip at this beautiful cottage.

I have stayed at Nature’s cottage in Bayfield twice now and I will definitely return again. The cottage is clean and spacious and has everything you need to get away for a little R and R. It has a big fenced in back yard for our dog and a beautiful spacious deck. George is very responsive to all your needs and he is a fantastic host! Highly recommend George and his Nature’s cottage retreat in Bayfield. I am looking forward to checking out his other properties!

Great cottage at a beautiful location by the river, very private and well kept. Everything is just like in the photos. The cottage has three spacious bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, big separate dining & living rooms, gas BBQ outside. George just installed a new firepit when we came in. The internet connection is fast and stable for working, video streaming, and studying. George is a wonderful host, very accommodating with our requests, and responded to all our questions promptly. We enjoyed our time there and will come again in the future.
